And keep Selling! We all want to create something and sell it, so that we can continue pursuing our passion for Glass! Of course, the Big Question is “How to Start?
This new Course will guide you through the process of: Product Concept (research and development); Designing for specific markets; Costing and Pricing (always difficult to value our own work and make money); Packaging and Display; Planning and Building an Inventory that will continue to garner sales; and Selling.
This is a professional and planned approach to your Market! We will discuss how to find and approach potential Wholesale and Retail Accounts; How to plan a Sales Strategy that works and fits with the Market; explore various marketing options such as Sales Reps; Showrooms, Tradeshows; Galleries and, of course - walking in that dreaded door with our own product!
Here is your opportunity to find the answers to all of your questions, so that you can pursue your passion for glass and not just think about it! This is not your Typical Marketing Course!
(This is a lecture, demonstration and discussion class, not a hands-on glass class. Although, time permitting, students may have an opportunity to develop and practice Sales Presentations of their own product(s). Of Course, for practice purposes, I can supply a product…don’t be bashful…this is how you start!!)
Limited to 25 students
