All the HGH classes will be held at the Doubletree Hotel, Portland, Lloyd Center except Jayne Persico’s “Colour-de-Verre” class and Michael DuPille’s “Fritography” classes which will be held to Uroboros Glass Studio.

Be sure to mention that you're part of Hot Glass Horizons. Rooms allotted for the conference are released four weeks prior to the start of the show, so be sure to make your reservations before September 1st, 2008.

The hotel has excellent restaurants, plus there are quite a few dinning options within walking distance. Remember, dinners are provided on both THURSDAY and SATURDAY evenings for those attending three or more full days of classes.

ITEMS TO BRING: Please bring your basic glass tools: glass cutter, safety glasses, breaking pliers, notebook and any special tools listed in class descriptions. The grinders, saws, kilns and other equipment as well as the glass for the classes are provided. Many of the classes require a dust mask for your own protection. We will provide one dust mask at registration for you to use. You may also choose to bring one of your own. If you are arriving by air, please pack your tools in checked baggage, they may not be appropriate as carry-on items. It is also recommended that you drain the oil from oil cutters; the airlines can confiscate cutters with oil inside of them.

We will have tools for sale in the HGH Store if you would prefer not to travel with your own tools.
