WEDNESDAY EVENING: Be sure to attend our Welcome Gathering and General Registration. We will host a causal wine-and-cheese get-together in the lobby of the Portland Doubletree Hotel during general registration.
THURSDAY EVENING: Our group will meet at the Portland Doubletree Hotel room for a get-acquainted dinner and slide show presentation. (Dinner tickets are included with your full registration. Guest tickets are available at registration.)
6:30 No Host Cocktails, 7:00 Dinner
FRIDAY EVENING: “Info Night” and “Show and Sell” take place. Show and Sell runs from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the hotel lobby, where there will be tables and a slide projector available for those who would like to show slides of their work or sell items they have made. This is a great opportunity to network with other attendees.
“Info Night” is a new event that features “Short Order” lectures, demos and Q and A sessions on a variety of subjects. Some of the presenters will be:

SATURDAY EVENING: Come to our grand farewell Costume Party with great door prizes, a delectable dinner banquet and music for your listening and dancing pleasure. Several of our attendees and teachers get in on the act and perform with the band. Another great night of fun! (Dinner tickets are included with your full registration. HOT GLASS HORIZONS STUDENT STORE: We provide a student store where many of the materials, equipment, and tools used in the classes will be available for purchase. Kilns used in the classes are sold at the end of the show for a discounted price. Works of art provided by some of the teachers and sheets of dichroic glass will also be for sale. The store is open during lunch and after class.

ITEMS TO BRING:
Please bring your basic glass tools: glass cutter, safety glasses, breaking pliers, notebook and any special tools listed in class descriptions. The grinders, saws, kilns and other equipment as well as the glass for the classes are provided. Many of the classes require a dust mask for your own protection. We will provide one dust mask at registration for you to use. You may also choose to bring one of our own. If you are arriving by air, please pack your tools in checked baggage, they may not be appropriate as carry on items. Be sure to drain the oil out of your glass cutters before boarding you flights.
Most of the glass, materials and equipment needed during the seminars will be provided. Some extra material fees may apply.
