Liquid Stringer Medium is an exciting new agent that when mixed with fine glass frits, powders or enamels, results in a formable glass paste that can be sculpted at room temperature. This paste can be applied with a squeeze bottle to draw stringer type lines of glass or mixed thick to form three dimensional cabochons without having to make molds. Thin the mixture slightly and you can “Cold Comb” colored glass at room temperature. When fired the glass has a shiny gloss surface unlike the matt finish achieves in cast glass objects. This fast paced hands-on class will show you how different mixes can be used for a variety of unique kiln applications.  Also covered are firing schedules and how to use time / temperature quotients to achieve specific results. Don’t miss this information-packed session.

Students should bring – basic glass working tools; cutter, pliers, and safety glasses.
